If you're looking to streamline your trading analysis, saving historical bar data and live tick updates to a CSV file can be a game-changer. With MetaTrader 4, this is a breeze! Simply navigate to your MetaTrader 4 directory, head into the 'MQL4' folder, and you'll find your saved files in the 'Files' folder.
This tool captures all the historical data displayed on your chart as well as the fluctuating values with each incoming tick. If you're interested in saving indicator values too, we’ve also rolled out a handy Indicators Values to CSV Custom Indicator.
Getting started is straightforward: just add the Custom Indicator to your chart, name your CSV file, and voilà! All historical data and real-time ticks will be automatically logged into that file.
