Price Alert is a handy tool that lets you set sound notifications when the market hits specific price levels you’ve chosen. This feature supports three types of signals to keep you in the loop:
- Above Level: A green line appears on your chart when the price goes above your set level.
- Below Level: A red line signals when the price dips below your chosen level.
- Exact Level: A yellow line marks when the price hits an exact figure you’ve specified.
Once a signal is triggered, all alerts will be disabled until you set new levels. If you want to receive these alerts via email, just make sure you configure the SMTP server and enter your email address in the MetaTrader platform options.
Input Parameters:
- SoundWhenPriceGoesAbove (default = 0.0): This sets the level for price increase alerts.
- SoundWhenPriceGoesBelow (default = 0.0): This defines the level for price decrease alerts.
- SoundWhenPriceIsExactly (default = 0.0): This sets the exact price trigger for alerts.
- SendEmail (default = false): When true, and if your email settings are correct, alerts will also be sent to your email.
