First off, a big shoutout to the original creators of the COG code, especially NG3110 from latchess.com and Linuxser for their contributions back in 2007 on Forex-TSD.

For those of you who have a grip on trading with the Center of Gravity (COG) indicator, getting to know the Stochastic COG should be a breeze. You’ll notice it tends to lead the On Chart COG, especially when divergences start showing up.

Now, COG can be a bit tricky since it often gives a picture-perfect view of the past—think of it like a Zig Zag. Thanks to its linear regression logic, the current situation might tell a different tale. Personally, I don't trade using COG, but I’ve found it to be a solid tool for gauging overall trends. If you're curious to see how the COG operates in real-time, check out the video I made where both indicators are at work. You can watch it here.

If you’re new to COG-style indicators, don’t sweat it! Just hop onto Google and type in the term; you’ll find a ton of discussions and strategies being shared across various forums.

Happy trading!

Cheers,
Brooky
