Let’s dive into the details of Karbofos, an Expert Advisor (EA) designed for MetaTrader 4. This system is all about placing 15 pending BuyLimit and 15 pending SellLimit orders, with the distance defined by the 'shag' value. Once some of these orders trigger, we hang tight and watch as the price moves in the opposite direction by the specified amount—referred to as my_profit.
If the price doesn’t bounce back to the desired level, we’ll have to face the music and take a loss, which is capped at my_stop.
One of the key challenges here is finding the right floating StopLoss algorithm or the optimal level for placing orders. My tests have predominantly been on the pound, but I’m confident it can adapt well to other currencies with some tweaks. If anyone has tips or insights to share, I’d be all ears!
Here’s what the results look like!

Optimization with the stop.
Optimization without stops (shows a great result, but be wary—disasters can strike unexpectedly).
