Understanding the Signals:
MACD:
- Signal 1: If the MACD line is above the zero line, it’s a +1. If it’s below, that’s a -1.
- Signal 2: When the MACD line is above the signal line, that’s a +1; below the signal line, it’s a -1.
Awesome Oscillator:
- Signal 1: Above the zero line = +1; below it = -1.
- Signal 2: If it’s green, that’s a +1; if it’s red, that’s a -1.
Moving Average of Oscillator:
- Signal 1: Above the zero line = +1; below it = -1.
- Signal 2 is not applicable here.
Williams' Percent Range:
- Signal 1: If it crosses the oversold line upwards = +1; if it crosses the overbought line downwards = -1.
- Signal 2 is not applicable here.
Stochastic Oscillator:
- Signal 1: %K crossing the oversold line upwards = +1; crossing the overbought line downwards = -1.
- Signal 2: %K above %D = +1; %K below %D = -1.
Trading Strategy:
- If your total signal is greater than 0 and you don’t have any buying positions open, it’s time to buy!
- If your total signal is less than 0 and you don’t have any selling positions open, go ahead and sell!
