New Features for ChartPlusChartV3

Introducing the ability to automatically run your own MQL script when non-market quotes occur. To set this up, assign hotkeys (use Alt + B).

Make sure to log the full names of your two MetaTrader windows in the programs.txt file. This helps the application know where to send the Alt + B command. You can find an example in the programs.txt file.

After completing these steps, write the script you want to run during non-market quotes and copy it into the scripts folder of the second terminal (the one you specified in programs.txt).

This program is designed to log non-market quotes from brokerage firms using the MetaTrader platform. It operates with two MetaTrader terminals. Quotes from these two terminals are sent through the advisors Chart1.mq4 and Chart2.mq4 to an external application.

The external application monitors the divergence of quotes. When it reaches a user-defined value and this divergence is observed within a specified time, the program saves the charts as two BMP images in the folder C:\ChartPlusChart\History. One image captures the divergence moment, while the other is taken five minutes later.

The BMP file names include the time of the divergence in hour-minute-second format.

As a tip, it's best to choose a broker with a high quote refresh rate and the best quote accuracy. We’ve measured and presented these characteristics (for demo accounts) for at least 84 brokers on our site.

Keep in mind that the difference may stem from the market deviation of either broker, but each instance can be verified separately.

To get started, extract the archive to the root directory. You’ll find a folder C:\ChartPlusChart containing five files: Chart1.mq4, Chart2.mq4, libSharedVarsDL, Lv2.def, SharedVarsDLLv2.dll, and ChartPlusChart.exe.

You will need two MetaTrader platforms from different brokerage firms. In both platforms, open the same currency pairs and run Chart1.mq4 in the first one and Chart2.mq4 in the second. Since these advisors work with DLLs, make sure to enable DLL imports in the Tools menu under Options. Check the box for Allow DLL imports and uncheck Confirm DLL function call. All files except the advisors should reside in C:\ChartPlusChart.

Finally, run the advisors for your selected currency pair in both MetaTrader platforms and execute C:\ChartPlusChart\ChartPlusChart.exe.
