If you're looking to supercharge your trading with an Expert Advisor (EA) in MetaTrader 4, you've come to the right place! Today, I’ll walk you through the process of loading CSV signals into your EA. Let's dive in!

Here’s a quick look at some sample CSV data you’ll be working with:

Sample CSV Data:
Magic, opendate, closedate, openprice, closeprice, stoplevel, profitlevel, type, symbol
1,2014-01-23 14:43:00,2014-01-23 15:43:00,1.36440,0.00000,0.00000,0.00000,Buy,EURUSD
2,2014-01-23 14:43:00,2014-01-23 16:43:00,1.36440,0.00000,0.00000,0.00000,Buy,EURUSD

Important: Make sure to place your CSV files in the correct directories. They need to be in the terminal_directory\experts\files folder for regular use, or in terminal_directory\tester\files if you’re testing your EA.

Here’s what you need to do:

  • Copy signals.csv into both the terminal_directory\experts\files and terminal_directory\tester\files folders.
  • Also, don’t forget to copy the mq4 file into the terminal_directory\experts\ folder.

By following these simple steps, you’ll be all set to let your EA work its magic! Happy trading!
