The strategy revolves around three main Bollinger Bands indicators. We use:
- Red: Standard deviations set in parameters
- Yellow: Standard deviations multiplied by 2.0
- Blue: Standard deviations divided by 2.0
We optimized this strategy using the EUR/USD pair on the H1 timeframe, testing from June 6, 2017, to November 20, 2017. Here’s the result from a single run in the strategy tester, analyzed over the period from January 6, 2017, to November 20, 2017:
