If you're looking to up your trading game, the Exp_trend_arrows could be just what you need. This trading system is designed around the trend_arrows indicator signals. Essentially, a signal is triggered at the close of a bar when a large colored dot appears on the indicator.
To get started, you’ll need the compiled indicator file trend_arrows.ex5. Just save it in your <terminal_data_folder>\MQL5\Indicators directory.
One cool feature of this EA is its compatibility with the TradeAlgorithms.mqh library, which allows you to use Expert Advisors with brokers that have a nonzero spread. Plus, you can set your Stop Loss and Take Profit right at the point of opening a position. If you want to check out more variants of this library, head over to Trade Algorithms.
During testing, we used the default input parameters for the Expert Advisor. Notably, we didn’t implement Stop Loss or Take Profit in these tests, so keep that in mind when you’re analyzing the results.
