If you're looking to enhance your trading game, the Exp_XDerivative Expert Advisor is definitely worth considering. This EA leverages the XDerivative oscillator to identify shifts in market direction. Essentially, it generates signals based on the closing of bars when a direction change occurs in the indicator.

To get started, make sure you have the compiled indicator file XDerivative.ex5 in your trading setup. You’ll need to place it in the <terminal_data_folder>\MQL5\Indicators directory.

One thing to keep in mind is that the TradeAlgorithms.mqh library file is essential for using Expert Advisors with brokers that offer nonzero spreads. Plus, it allows you to set your Stop Loss and Take Profit right when you open a position. You can find more variants of this library at this link: Trade Algorithms.

The testing results below are based on the default input parameters of the EA. Note that during these tests, neither Stop Loss nor Take Profit were utilized.
