The Vortex Oscillator is a handy tool that measures the difference between the VI+ and VI- lines of the Vortex Indicator, displaying the results as a histogram that dances around the zero line.

This system comes packed with features that aren't available in the standard Vortex Indicator System. When all options are switched off, it operates as a straightforward reversal system. It closes a long trade on a sell signal and flips to short, while also closing a short trade on a buy signal and flipping back to long. You can customize it further with options for Stop Loss and Take Profit on both long and short trades. Plus, it allows you to set specific thresholds for when the Vortex Oscillator will signal buy or sell alerts. With these options activated, the system will exit positions as needed but will hold off on entering new trades until there's a clear buy or sell signal.

I've run tests to ensure the code functions as intended, and it does seem to perform well. However, I want to be clear: I’m not presenting this Expert Advisor as a guaranteed money-maker. Think of it more as a starting point for diving deeper into the Vortex Oscillator as a trading tool. My initial findings suggest that, in its current state, it isn't a profitable system.

DISCLAIMER: This Expert Advisor is provided as-is, with no guarantees that it will yield profits in real trading scenarios. It's meant purely for educational purposes. Please don’t use it to trade real money until you've thoroughly tested it and tailored it to fit your risk tolerance and trading style.

Important Note: You need to have the Vortex Oscillator installed in your experts\indicators directory for this Expert Advisor to function correctly, as it relies on the iCustom() function to access the Vortex Oscillator values.

Revision: The external variable names have been updated for clarity. The previous names Use_Buy_Stop, Use_Sell_Stop, VO_Buy_Stop, and VO_Sell_Stop have been changed to Use_Buy_StopLoss, Use_Sell_StopLoss, VO_Buy_StopLoss, and VO_Sell_StopLoss, respectively.
