As traders, we all appreciate a clean chart, and Heikin Ashi charts are a favorite for many. They help us cut through the noise and spot trends more clearly.

However, there’s a catch—these charts can obscure the actual price values, particularly the closing prices.

The Heikin Ashi close price is derived from an applied price known as the “total price,” while the open is essentially a moving average of these close prices.

So why not simplify things by displaying this information as two distinct lines?

That’s exactly what this indicator does. You’ll be able to see the true bar values without any confusion—the dotted line represents the open, and the solid line indicates the close.

Keep in mind that by default, the line colors are set to Gray, which can be a bit dreary. Feel free to customize the colors to your liking—perhaps Yellow on a black background or Blue on a white one.

This code utilizes conditional compilation and is compatible with both MQL4 and MQL5. Plus, all my source code published on CodeBase is now also accessible in the “Public Projects” tab of MetaEditor under the name “FMIC.”
