Hey fellow traders! If you’re anything like me, you have a soft spot for moving averages (MAs) and the CCI indicator. I often dive into momentum trades based on divergences in the CCI, and trust me, it’s a game-changer. The Accelerated MA indicator is a fantastic tool that helps me identify these divergences with ease.
General Idea: When the price starts to drift away from the Accelerated MA, it’s usually a safe bet to jump into a momentum trade. Think of it as a green light for your trading strategy!
General Idea #2: On the flip side, if the moving average is closely following the price, we’re likely in a ranging market. During these times, it’s best to either employ range strategies or hold off on trading altogether.
