Welcome to our deep dive into the Indicator Strength—a handy tool for any trader looking to sharpen their edge. This indicator visually represents the difference between two key elements:

  • Fast and slow moving averages (MA_Power=true)
  • Main and signal lines of the MACD indicator (MACD_Power=true)
  • Main and signal lines of a stochastic indicator (Stochastic_Power=true)

Keep in mind, you can only select one option at a time, with the default set to moving averages. However, you can open another indicator option if you want to explore further.

One of the standout features of this indicator is its ability to show average strength levels of the difference values, both above and below the zero line. If you prefer a cleaner look, you can easily disable this feature by setting Set_Levels=false.

So, why is this indicator important? It’s designed to help you gauge the power or strength behind a price movement, giving you insight into market momentum. Understanding these dynamics can be the difference between a winning trade and a missed opportunity!
