Welcome, fellow traders! Today, we're diving into a fantastic trading system that utilizes the Darvas Boxes System indicator. This system generates signals when a bar closes, particularly if a colored bar appears and the previous bar has an opposite color or no color at all.
To get started, you'll need the compiled indicator file, DarvasBoxes_System.ex5. Make sure to place this file in your <terminal_data_folder>\MQL5\Indicators directory.
Also, keep in mind that the TradeAlgorithms.mqh library is essential for running Expert Advisors with brokers that offer nonzero spreads. This library also lets you set Stop Loss and Take Profit right when you open a position. If you're looking for more variations of this library, check it out here: Trade Algorithms.
In the testing results below, we used the default input parameters for the Expert Advisor. Notably, we did not apply Stop Loss or Take Profit during these tests.
