It's a fantastic option for backtesting, enabling you to research indicators and timing across different timeframes. Here's how it works:
- When you drop it onto a chart, it automatically reads the currency pair and creates a dedicated folder to store all your screenshots in C:\Program Files(x86)\MetaTrader4\experts\files\pair\pic.gif (for instance, \EURUSD\20130125_215859_EURUSD_60.gif).
- It detects the timeframe and sets the appropriate interval for taking pictures (for example, on an M15 chart, it captures an image every hour).
Input Parameters:
- Select your Broker or Local PC time.
- Choose the color for your watermark.
- Specify the font size for the watermark.
- Decide which corner to display the watermark.
Current Default Settings:
- PERIOD_M1: Takes a pic every 15 minutes.
- PERIOD_M5: Takes a pic every 30 minutes.
- PERIOD_M15: Takes a pic every hour.
- PERIOD_M30: Takes a pic every hour.
- PERIOD_H1: Takes a pic every 4 hours.
- PERIOD_H4: Takes a pic daily.
- PERIOD_D1: Takes a pic weekly.
- PERIOD_W1: Takes a pic monthly.
