Hey there, fellow traders! Today, let's dive into the DRAW_NONE indicator for MetaTrader 5 and see how it can help us with bar indexing.

This indicator is a bit unique because it displays the bar index in the "Data Window". To break it down, the bar indexing is based on a timeseries approach. Essentially, this means that the current uncompleted bar is indexed as 0, while the oldest bar carries the highest index. It's important to mention that the DRAW_NONE indicator doesn't actually plot anything on your chart. Even though there’s a red color defined for the first graphic plot, it remains invisible on the screen. This can be beneficial for those of us who want to keep our charts clean while still accessing the bar index data.
