CloseProfit v2 is a powerful tool designed for MetaTrader 5 that helps you manage your trades efficiently. The key feature of this EA (Expert Advisor) is its ability to close all open positions once your profit hits a specified threshold, referred to as Profit Close, or if your losses reach a certain limit, known as Loss Close. Additionally, it clears any pending orders when these conditions are met.
One of the unique features of CloseProfit v2 is the All Symbols parameter. This determines whether the EA operates across all available symbols or just the one you are currently trading:
- If All Symbols is set to true, the EA will function on all symbols.
- If All Symbols is set to false, it will only manage the current symbol.
Another important setting is the magic number. This is a unique identifier for the EA to track its trades. If you set it to 0, the EA will work with any magic number, giving you flexibility in your trading strategy.
When you run CloseProfit v2 in the strategy tester (especially in visual mode), it enters demo mode by opening a BUY position and placing a Buy Limit pending order. This allows you to see how the EA performs in real-time scenarios, helping you refine your trading approach.
