Unlock the Power of Chart Comparison
If you're serious about trading, you know how crucial it is to have the right tools at your disposal. That's where ChartPlusChart comes into play. This nifty program lets you compare quotes from any two MetaTrader brokerage firms, giving you the upper hand in monitoring their charts.
Getting Started
First things first—download and unpack the archive to the root directory of your system. You'll find a folder located at c:/ChartPlusChart containing these important files:
- Chart1.mq4
- Chart2.mq4
- libSharedVarsDLv2.def
- SharedVarsDLLv2.dll
- ChartPlusChart.exe
Setting Up Your MetaTrader Platforms
To get the most out of ChartPlusChart, you’ll need two separate MetaTrader platforms from different brokers. Make sure both platforms are set up with the same currency pairs. Here’s what you need to do:
- Run Chart1.mq4 on the first platform.
- Run Chart2.mq4 on the second platform.
Allow DLL Imports
Since these advisors work with a DLL, you'll need to enable DLL imports. Here’s how:
- Go to the Tools menu, then select Options.
- Check the box for Allow DLL imports.
- Uncheck the box for Confirm DLL function calls.
Launching ChartPlusChart
Ensure all files, except for the advisors, are in the c:/ChartPlusChart directory. Once you've set everything up, run ChartPlusChart.exe and watch as two graphs appear in one window. It’s as easy as that!
