Check out one of my backtests from June 2009 to April 2010—my equity is outpacing my balance, and I can’t help but chuckle!
I’m utilizing the Moving Average indicator right from MT4, paired with a Money Management system I found on MQL5 Forum. I tweaked the code a bit to merge both strategies. Instead of using AccountBalance(), I've switched to AccountFreeMargin() to better calculate stop-loss levels.
The reason I'm sharing this here is to gather your insights and suggestions for improvement. Just a heads-up: avoid using this on a live account until it’s fully tested.
I've got more work to do to refine it and will be running it on a demo account for now.
