If you’re diving into the world of trading, you might want to check out the Exp_LinearRegSlope_V1 Expert Advisor (EA) for MetaTrader 5. This nifty tool kicks into gear when the LinearRegSlope_V1 indicator cloud changes color. It’s all about timing—this EA generates a signal right when a bar closes and the oscillator crosses its signal line.
To get started with this EA, make sure you have the compiled indicator file LinearRegSlope_V1.ex5. You’ll need to drop it into your <terminal_data_folder>\MQL5\Indicators directory to run it smoothly.
In the tests we ran, we used the default input parameters for the Expert Advisor. Just a heads up—neither Stop Loss nor Take Profit was employed during these tests.
