Meet the Exp_XMACD, an Expert Advisor (EA) that leverages signals from the XMACD universal histogram. This EA generates signals when a bar closes, indicating a breakthrough in the MACD histogram at the zero level or a change in the histogram direction or signal line. It also considers breakthroughs in the signal line histogram based on the input parameter mode you've selected.
To get started, simply place the XMACD.ex5 compiled file into your terminal_data_folder/MQL5/Indicators.
The default input parameters for the Expert Advisor were utilized in the tests below, and it’s worth noting that neither Stop Loss nor Take Profit settings were applied during these evaluations.
