If you're into trading with MetaTrader 5, then you need to check out the Exp_ColorXdinMA Expert Advisor. This nifty EA is based on the ColorXdinMA moving average's directional shifts. It generates signals when a bar closes, specifically when there's a change in the Moving Average direction.

To get started, you'll need to have the compiled indicator file ColorXdinMA.ex5 set up. Just pop it into your <terminal_data_folder>\MQL5\Indicators directory, and you’re good to go!

Keep in mind, the TradeAlgorithms.mqh library file is essential for using Expert Advisors with brokers that offer nonzero spreads. This library also lets you set your Stop Loss and Take Profit right when you open a position. If you’re interested in other versions of the library, you can grab them here: Trade Algorithms.

The tests shown below used the default input parameters for the Expert Advisor. Notably, Stop Loss and Take Profit were not applied during these tests.
