Hey there, fellow traders! Today, I want to dive into an interesting strategy that a program is built around. Let’s break it down together!

How the Buying Works

The buying signal is triggered under two conditions:

  • First, when the stochastic's signal line dips below the main line.
  • Second, when the open and close prices of the next candlestick rise above the open and close prices of the previous candlestick.

Understanding Selling Signals

Now, let's flip the script for selling. The process is essentially the opposite of buying. You open a position when the signals indicate it’s time to sell, and close the buying position by selling. Simple, right?

Troubleshooting Your Program

However, I’ve been running into issues with this program. It’s executing quite a few trades that don’t align with the strategy. If anyone has insights into potential errors in the code, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Stop Loss and Take Profit Settings

On another note, when I set both the Take Profit (TP) and Stop Loss (SL) to 15, I keep encountering a '130 wrong stop' error. Does anyone know how to properly set stops to avoid this? Your advice would be greatly appreciated!

Let's Collaborate!

If anything I’ve said here is unclear, don’t hesitate to reach out! I’ve been using this strategy for quite a while on a manual basis, and it has proven to be profitable. Unfortunately, the program isn’t quite hitting the mark.

Looking forward to your replies!

Thanks for your support!
