The pSAR Bug 4 is an Expert Advisor (EA) tailored for MetaTrader 4, designed to automatically open and close trades based on the first signal from the Parabolic SAR indicator. The success of this EA hinges on its customizable parameters, including stop loss, take profit, trailing stop, and lot size for opening trades.
Important Note: To ensure the EA operates seamlessly with the SAR indicator, you’ll need to adjust the "Step" and "Maximum" values on the SAR indicator to match your EA settings. This is crucial for accurate visual representation. For instance, if you use the default step setting for the EA (0.001), you might mistakenly think it hasn't opened a trade when the SAR indicator (default at 0.02) signals it to do so. In reality, the virtual SAR with a step of 0.001 may not have given a signal yet.
If you find that no orders are being opened and the journal shows an error, that’s your cue to take action. Always keep an eye on updates from this page—your trading success depends on it!
